Job Summary:
The Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, ensuring smooth sales operations and enhancing overall customer satisfaction. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for various administrative tasks to facilitate the sales process and maintain accurate sales records.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the sales team in managing and organizing sales activities, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
2. Collaborate with the sales team to prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines.
3. Coordinate and track sales orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
4. Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date contact information, sales records, and documentation.
5. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns or forwarding them to the appropriate sales representative.
6. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analyses, providing valuable insights to the sales team and management.
7. Assist in monitoring sales performance metrics, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and identifying areas for improvement.
8. Collaborate with various internal teams, such as marketing and logistics, to coordinate sales-related activities and ensure efficient operations.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics.
10. Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including managing calendars, making travel arrangements, and processing expense reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in a sales coordination or sales support role, preferably within the retail industry.
3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
